Welcome to Daily! Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle any personal information when you use our app, including our AI chat feature, or contact us via email.

Daily does not collect any personal data from users directly within the app. However, if you choose to contact us via email at ceo@fitdaily.in or hi@fitdaily.in, we may receive the following information:

  • The content of your email, including any feedback or inquiries

1.2 AI Chat Feature Data

When you use our AI chat feature:

  • Apple Health Data Processing: Your Apple Health data (workouts, heart rate, steps, etc.) is processed locally on your device before being sent to our AI system. This data is anonymized and aggregated before transmission.
  • Chat Data: Your conversations with the AI are processed to provide responses. This data is transmitted through our secure infrastructure but is not used by OpenAI to train their models.
  • Optional Data Sharing: You may choose to opt-in to share your AI usage data with us for service improvement. If you opt-in:
    • Anonymous chat messages and timestamps are stored
    • No personally identifiable information is collected or stored
    • Each conversation is assigned a unique identifier for technical purposes only
    • This data is retained indefinitely to help improve our AI service
    • Due to the anonymous nature of this data, individual deletion requests cannot be processed

1.3 Information Collected by Third Parties

While we don’t collect personal information directly, third-party services we use may collect certain data:

Apple App Store:

  • Purchase history and subscription status
  • Device information for payment processing
  • This information is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy

RevenueCat (Subscription Management):

  • Subscription status and purchase receipts
  • Anonymous identifiers for subscription management
  • This information is governed by RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy

OpenAI (AI Processing):

  • Anonymous, aggregated health data and chat messages for processing AI responses
  • We have explicitly configured our OpenAI account to prevent your data from being used to train or improve OpenAI’s models

Firebase Analytics:

  • App usage analytics and crash reporting
  • This information is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy

All app usage data and personal content remains stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers except for the AI chat feature as described above.

2. How We Use Your Information

2.1 Email Communications

If you send us an email, your information will be used to:

  • Respond to your feedback or inquiries
  • Improve our app based on user suggestions
  • In future, your email address might be used for marketing purposes by FitDaily

2.2 AI Chat Feature

  • To provide AI-powered responses to your health and fitness questions
  • To process your Apple Health data locally and provide personalized insights
  • To improve our AI service quality (only if you opt-in to data sharing)

2.3 Subscription Data

We do not directly access your subscription information. Apple and RevenueCat handle all subscription-related data processing to:

  • Manage your subscription status
  • Process payments and renewals
  • Provide customer support for billing issues

3. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not share, sell, or distribute your personal information to any third parties beyond the necessary third-party services mentioned above (Apple App Store, RevenueCat, OpenAI, and Firebase) which are required for app functionality. Your communication with us remains private and is used primarily for customer support and app improvement.

Important: We have configured our systems to ensure that OpenAI cannot use your chat data to train or improve their AI models. Your conversations remain private and are only used to generate responses for you.

4. Data Storage and Security

  • All your app data (activity tracking, timers, etc.) is stored locally on your device
  • We do not have access to your personal app data stored locally
  • AI chat data is transmitted securely through encrypted connections
  • Optional anonymous chat data is stored securely in our database systems
  • Email communications are kept secure but note that email is not always 100% secure
  • Third-party services (Apple, RevenueCat, OpenAI, Firebase) have their own security measures

5. Your Rights and Choices

  • You can delete the app at any time to remove all local data
  • You can manage subscriptions through your Apple ID settings
  • You can contact us to request deletion of any email communications
  • You can opt out of future marketing emails by contacting us
  • You can choose whether to share your AI usage data with us for service improvement
  • You can stop using the AI chat feature at any time

Note: Due to the anonymous nature of AI chat data we collect (if you opt-in), we cannot identify or delete specific user conversations from our systems.

6. Children’s Privacy

Our app is suitable for users 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

7. International Data Transfers

Email communications and AI chat data may be processed and stored in servers located outside your country of residence, including in the United States. By using our services, you consent to such transfers. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international data transfers.

We take the privacy of your health data seriously:

  • Health data is processed locally on your device before any transmission
  • Only anonymized and aggregated health data is sent to our AI systems
